For a pocket dictionary, this little guy is amazing! Still small enough to fit in your pocket, but filled with over 13,000 words! It's updated with words for today's technology and includes a basic overview of grammar and pronunciation as well. The first half of the book is a Japanese-English dictionary and the second half is an English-Japanese dictionary. What's truly unique about this dictionary is the letter category and the headwords are in blue. Visually it is very easy to read despite the small print. If a word can have multiple meanings, it includes the contacts and parenthesis - just like a large dictionary. It's hard to keep this little guy on my desk with two Japanese language high school students trying to borrow it every chance they can. For the low price, I might just have to pick each of them up their own to keep mine to myself! --Goodreads
