The 2023 Mine Waste and Tailings Conference, co-hosted by AusIMM and The University of Queensland, welcomed delegates from across the globe to explore all aspects of life cycle waste rock and tailings management, from site selection and design to post-closure care, and also addressed current and future challenges impacting mining systems re-engineering.
