Dr. Abhineet Saini received his Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Panjab University, Chandigarh, India and has more than 11 years of teaching and research experience in the field of Manufacturing Technology which includes conventional machining, biomaterials, composite materials, additive manufacturing, CAD/CAM and engineering optimization. He has been associated with a number of international and national conferences in the role of session chair for technical sessions. He has been the reviewer of many peer-reviewed journals and has authored/ co-authored 20+ articles in peer-reviewed international journals of repute, conferences, and book chapters. Dr. B. S. Pabla is an experienced academician and researcher with 36 years of experience in academics and 5 years in industry. He earned his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Panjab University, Chandigarh, India, and has served at various administrative positions and is presently working as a Professor in the Mechanical Engineering Department at NITTTR Chandigarh. He has authored/co-authored books and research articles in various national and international journals of repute. He has also filed 4 patents of which 1 has been granted and 3 are under process. Dr. Pabla was awarded the Eminent Engineering Personality of the year in 2014 by the Institution of Engineers (India) Haryana State Centre, India, and has visited a number of national and international universities/ organizations for academic and research purposes. Dr. Chander Prakash is an Associate Professor at the School of Mechanical Engineering, Lovely Professional University, Jalandhar, India. He has received a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Panjab University, Chandigarh, India. His area of research is biomaterials, rapid prototyping & 3-D printing, advanced manufacturing, modeling, simulation, and optimization. He has more than 11 years of teaching experience and 6 years of research experience. He has authored 100+ research papers and 20+ book chapters. He is also a Guest Editor of 2 Journals, as well as a book series editor for the Sustainable Manufacturing Technologies: Additive, Subtractive, and Hybrid, series for CRC Press/Taylor and Francis. Dr. Gurmohan Singh has over 12 years of teaching, research, and industry experience. His areas of interest include additive manufacturing, biomedical engineering, material science, and integrative research areas. He received his Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Chitkara University, Punjab, India and has been associated with a number of international and national conferences as a Session Chair for Technical Sessions. He has also been a Reviewer for many peer-reviewed journals and has authored/co-authored more than 10 research articles/book chapters. He has also been part of organizing committees for 3 international conferences. Dr. Alokesh Pramanik is currently a Senior Lecturer in the Mechanical Engineering Department, School of Civil and Mechanical Engineering at Curtin University. He earned his Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Sydney and has more than 15 years of research experience in the fields of manufacturing as well as composite materials at different universities. He has published more than 110 research articles which include several books, many book chapters, and many reputed journal articles. His area of research is synthesis/development, surface modification, and advanced/precision machining of metallic and non-metallic biomaterials.
