Isabelle Engler is a board-certified music therapist specializing in the NICU and pediatrics. Engler has performed at and attended piano festivals in San Francisco, San Diego, New York, Tokyo, Paris, and Italy. Additionally, she's worked with educators and artists as a collaborative pianist; her most recent works are the Fire Organ and Cymatics Sculpture, produced by Guerilla Science, and Andantino, a chamber music concert series designed for families. Experienced in working with hospitalized children and caregivers, children with autism spectrum disorder, and adults with neurological impairments, Engler desires to use music to serve children and families. Engler resides in Southlake, Texas, with her husband and two daughters. Rann Chia is a children's art teacher and picture book illustrator based in Taiwan. She specializes in using traditional techniques and composite media to draw delicate pictures that tell stories. Her paintings focus on social issues, spiritual growth, and interpersonal relationships. As a survivor of mental illness, she believes that mental wellness is incredibly important. Chia's creation process is a form of self-expression and self-treatment. She has experience illustrating children's picture books as well as creating commercial illustrations for publishing houses, musicians, tableware merchants, food merchants, and more. Music & Tales Publishing was founded in 2021 by Isabelle Engler out of her desire to use music to serve children and families and to create mindfully designed and research-based resources with the ultimate goal to empower kids through music.
