Twice married, he has no children. Kennedy enjoys music, reading, movies, sports, travel, family and friends. Don's nickname is ""The Phantom,"" given to him by mentor and renowned casino marketing guru John Romero. Romero named him that as no one could keep track of him with his casino marketing career moving him around the country. Where he would land, nobody knew. Another new nickname, ""Makaha,"" is revealed in volume three of his book series. Don's passion, though, for the past 28, going on 29 years, has been as a volunteer Santa Claus for all those who needed to be seen, heard and given some Christmas spirit. He believes in ""giving back."""
