For over 27 years, Jed Dukett's work at the Adirondack Lakes Survey Corporation (ALSC) helped address the environmental injustice of acid rain. He started as a chemist and successfully retired, in 2020, from the ALSC as the leader of arguably one of the most successful environmental and recovery stories the United States has ever produced. Over a rewarding and fun career with the ALSC, he was responsible for the chemical analysis and assuring the quality of a highly respected and robust global acid rain dataset. Jed has a Bachelor's in Chemistry and a Master's in Liberal Studies with a concentration in Administration and Leadership, both from the State University of New York Plattsburgh. Jed has coached youth baseball and hockey for 25-plus years and helps build and maintain baseball fields in his community. He enjoys time at home alongside his family-wife, Juli, daughter Elli, son Luka, and their dog Nettles. Jed is passionate about baseball and hockey at all levels of play. He also enjoys miniature golf, camping, other sporting events, and attending Mass.
