Denis Minns is a Dominican monk and lives in New South Wales, Australia. He was a member of the Theology Faculty of Oxford University and lecturer for Blackfriars in Patristics. He is the author of Irenaeus and Traditional doctrine and the antique world view... in The Task of Theology Today. His interests include Patristics, Early Church History and the History of Doctrine. He is currently editing and translating Justin Martyr.
This book is a lightly revised edition of Minn's 1994 book. It remains authorative and clear in its description and analysis of a formative theological figure whose writings shed light upon the development of many key Christian doctrines.--Sanford Lakoff
