Kathryn Jewett Hogenson, a native of Virginia, resides in Florida with her husband, Gary Hogenson. She is a lawyer by training and an historian by choice. For many years, she served the Bahá'í Faith at both the international and national levels as a staff member. A frequent lecturer, she is the author of other books and articles, including Lighting the Western Sky: The Hearst Pilgrimage and the Establishment of the Bahá'í Faith in the West.
