David Romain is the author of Observing Earth's Lifestyle: Considering the Value of Earth Stewardship in Environmental Protection (2017). He has a B.A. in Geography from the University of Michigan and an M.A. in Economic Development from Durham University, in Durham, England. David grew up in Trinidad and Tobago, a life experience which has informed his perspective on the effects of colonialism on Christianity. He examines the effects of the Doctrine of Discovery which was used to subjugate non-Europeans and force a version of Christianity which has portrayed Jesus as a European.
