Phyllis Elin has over three decades of senior information governance leadership as well as extensive IG consulting experience across a broad range of industries, including higher education, finance, healthcare, and the public sector. Her unique expertise spans active file management, records retention, technology consulting, and vendor evaluation. In addition, she has authored three recent books on Information Governance published by Business Expert Press, solidifying her reputation as a thought leader in the field. Currently, Phyllis Elin is the CEO of Knowledge Preservation, LLC, an information governance consultancy practice based out of New Jersey. Max Rapaport is an experienced commercial and regulatory attorney with expertise in the areas of information governance, data privacy (US/EU) and commercial intellectual property transactions. Representative experience includes serving as the general counsel for a large outsourcing organization, managing and implementing numerous multi-jurisdictional IG legal research projects in the United States, the EU and Japan and counseling technology companies on their US and EU data privacy compliance obligations. Max is currently the COO of Knowledge Preservation and, together with Phyllis Elin, has written two books addressing IG challenges.
