Mark Sperring worked as a printer before becoming a bookseller, and later a children's book author. Mark is the author of many picture books including Four Silly Skeletons, The Naughty Naughty Baddies and Mince Spies (Bloomsbury), and The Sunflower Sword (Andersen). He lives in Bristol. Natelle Quek is a Malaysian-born illustrator who also spent the latter half of her formative years growing up in New Zealand. She now lives in leafy south-east England with her husband, an apathetic cat and a loud-snoring dog. She focuses on children's illustration and loves using bold colours and cinematic perspectives to draw audiences into her worlds.
Praise for The Sunflower Sword by Mark Sperring: Captivating and memorable - my favourite picture book of the season * The Bookseller *
