The intention is for it to be helpful inspiration. A novice artist doesn't just want advice and theory. They want to see art that can inspire them, they want to know the experience of those who are already doing this craft. And, the more familiar this experience seems to them, the more interested they will be in pursuing their own path. It is not an easy path; it is full of obstacles and perhaps even dangers.
