Samuel C. Sugarman is an internationally recognized HVAC consultant, instructor, and author. He has consulted on and managed projects for design, performance evaluation, retrofit, energy management, test and balance, and commissioning of HVAC systems for cleanroom facilities, colleges, corporate headquarters, fume hood labs, government facilities, hospitals, hotels, major retail establishments, military installations, nuclear power plant, office complexes, private and public schools, and universities. Mr. Sugarman was an adjunct professor at San Diego City College teaching fluid flow dynamics and advanced refrigeration and has teaching credentials in California and Washington. He is a Certified Indoor Air Quality Manager, Certified Demand Side Manager, Certified Energy Manager, Certified ESCO Instructor, Certified Test and Balance Professional, International Training Institute HVAC and Test and Balance Instructor, and National Training Fund Test and Balance Instructor. He has taught over 500 HVAC programs, seminars, and webinars for various organizations including Association of Energy Engineers, ASHRAE, and National Energy Management Institute. He has authored numerous books and training manuals on topics in his expertise and has received awards and special recognition for his accomplishments. Mr. Sugarman is currently the administrator of the International Registry of CTAB Professionals and conducts HVAC webinars for PBJ Tech Hub.
