Erma Metzger is a retired pastor from the West Ohio Conference of the United Methodist Church. Together with her husband Dean, she raised three sons in rural northwest Ohio. Their oldest son, Dan, is also a West Ohio Conference pastor and the author of How NOT to RuinChristmas. In retirement Erma and Dean are enjoying life on the family farm, gardening, traveling, and spending time with friends and family-especially enjoying more time with their grandchildren. She counts it a privilege and blessing to have been able to collaborate with Dan on this literary project. Dan Metzger is the Senior Pastor of St. Marks United Methodist Church in Findlay, Ohio. After receiving his Masters of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary, Dan began serving churches throughout west Ohio. Dan and his wife Holly have three amazing daughters: Adelyn, Renee, and Emilia. Dan is passionate about helping people find and tell their own stories of life change through Jesus.
