GenX is the new generation of grandparents, and for a generation that was largely unseen, we're getting a lot of attention and some criticism for our grandparenting ways. Our adult Millennial children might think we're not involved enough, and our Boomer parents might think we're too involved. We've created relationships with our children over the years that have turned them into our best friends. As a GenX grandparent, Tonya recognized that family relationships can be fragile if we don't truly understand generational differences. When we understand each other, we can love each other better through patience, common ground, and healthy boundaries.
