Gospel-Inspired Teaching and Learning introduces a transformative framework that uses a structured view of teaching and learning in Christian schools. This 'gospel-inspired' framework helps teachers to create meaningful and nurturing lessons that provide students with the tools and capabilities to flourish and experience life in all its fullness in alignment with God's vision.

The framework emphasises important facets of the educational process, such as fostering meaningful relationships, supporting and inspiring learning, making education accessible and engaging, unveiling the beauty of God's creation, modelling Christian virtues, encouraging excellence and nurturing individual God-given gifts.

Upon joining a missional Christian school, teachers embark on a profound journey of discovery, serving within a community and worshiping together. This journey involves personal and professional growth, aligning one's gifts with God's plans. It is hoped that the 'gospel-inspired' approach will be embraced and valued by educators and school leaders in Christian schools – and ultimately enrich the learning experience for students and their families.

Thelma Perso embarked on her journey in education as a mathematics teacher in government secondary schools in Western Australia. Over the years, she assumed various senior roles in four different government school systems, including the prestigious position of Executive Director of Curriculum for the State of Queensland. Her extensive background in education, her authorship of many books, combined with her doctoral accomplishment and role as the Chief Education Officer at Swan Christian Education Association, reflect her commitment to advancing Christian values in schools. Graeme Cross has had a distinguished career as a teacher and school principal in the public schooling sector. His journey also led him to the independent sector, serving as the Principal of a Christian school and eventually entering the tertiary sector, contributing to Edith Cowan University (ECU), Morling College, and holding the position of Academic Dean at Vose Seminary. Graeme is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Swan Christian Education Association.
