She focuses her methods on challenging traditional approaches and uses the modern world as a springboard into the ancient one. Growing up in a mixed-race family, in a council estate in the East End of London, Jasmine knows personally how far removed the ancient world can feel from our hectic modern one. Only gaining access to the study of the ancient world at university, she has directed much of her passion into widening participation in the subject for all. Having spent over twenty years in the field of classical education, she has a wealth of experience in bringing the study of the ancient world to life. Her goal is to show people how to relate personally to their shared ancestry.
