The Global Interactions Fourth Edition series is written for the NSW Geography 11–12 Syllabus (2022), for implementation from 2024.
Global Interactions 12 has been developed to support teaching and learning of the contents of the NSW Geography Syllabus (Year 12). The fourth edition of the GlobalInteractions series will support teachers to deliver the syllabus-defined content to Year 11 and Year 12 students. The fourth edition includes updates to:

For Year 12 every chapter explores the content through many examples of the big issues in our contemporary world, including actions for sustainable production at a range of scales, the range of urban and rural settlements, the functioning of ecosystems and trends in global diversity. Extensive case study chapters cover a range of the most popular ‘option’topics in the new syllabus, as voted by teachers.

In the fourth edition, the chapter glossaries are now positioned at the front of each chapter, allowing students to familiarisethemselves with key terms before progressing with the chapter content. The glossaries providean easy reference for more than 350 key terms in the Year 11 edition and more than 200 terms in the Year 12 edition, which are identified throughout the chapter content with bold text.
Extended glossaries are included for chapters requiring greater vocabulary support for students.
