Since 2014, he is a Principal Scientist & ICAR-National Fellow working at ICAR-Indian Veterinary Research Institute, Izatnagar, India. He has acquired advance training in Molecular Virology from University of Minnesota, USA (2005) and Division of Virology, University of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada (2013). He did his Post-doctoral research (2002) at University of Minnesota, Saint Paul, USA. Due to his significant contributions in the field of animal virology he has been recognized with several prestigious National, State and Academy awards and honours including ICAR-Jawaharlal Nehru Award. He is also Fellow of Indian Virological Society and member study group on Picobirnaviridae and Birnaviridae viruses of International Committee on Taxonomy of Viruses (ICTV). He is Member-Managing Committee World Society of Virology. He has supervised 3Ph.D. and 17M.V.Sc. students. Has authored 5 books, 25 book chapters, and published 185 scientific research and review articles in reputed journals. He is the Editor-in-Chief of Journal of Immunology Immunopathology and also edited special issues of Springer's journal VirusDisease , Bentham's journal, The Open Virology Journal , and Journal of Current Drug Metabolism on emerging thematic areas. Debmalya Barh, PhD, holds Master's and PhD's degree on Biotechnology and Post-Doc on Bioinformatics. He is honorary Principal Scientist at Centre for Genomics and Applied Gene Technology, Institute of Integrative Omics and Applied Biotechnology, a global platform of multidisciplinary research and advocacy. He has experience with both academic and industrial research and has more than 12 years on bioinformatics and personalized diagnostic/medicine industry experience, with focus on translating academic research into high value commercial products. He has published more than 150 articles in reputed international journals and has edited 15 cutting-edge biotechnology related reference books. He has also co-authored 30+ book chapters. Due to his significant contribution in the field, he has been recognized by Who's Who in the World and Limca Book of Records. Vasco Azevedo is a full professor, CNPq researcher 1A, member of the Brazilian Academy of Sciences, Commander of the Order of Scientific Merit of the MCTI, of the Genetics advisory committee and the public policy working group on Biotechnology and Genetic resources of COBRG / CNPq, coordinator of the Associated International Laboratory Bact-infl from INRA and UFMG, and vice-president of the Brazilian Association of Bioinformatics and Computational Biology (AB3C). He holds a degree in Veterinary Medicine from the School of Veterinary Medicine of the Federal University of Bahia (1986), a master's degree (1989), and a doctorate (1993) in Genetics of Microorganisms from the Institut National Agronomique Paris Grignon. Post-doctorate from the Department of Microbiology, School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania (the USA, 1994). Professor at the Institute of Biomedical Sciences of the University of Sao Paulo (2004) and Ph.D. in Bioinformatics at UFMG (2017). He has experience in Genetics and Bioinformatics, emphasizing Molecular and Microorganism Genetics, acting mainly on the following topics: Genomics; transcriptomics; proteomics, metabolomics; Functional analysis of genes; Virulence and pathogenicity study, Molecular Biotechnology and Biosafety. He works on vaccine development, diagnostics, and the development of next-generation probiotics.
