Rachel Aaron is the author of ten novels. Her first series--The Legend of Eli Monpress, a five-book-long character-driven Fantasy about a charming wizard thief--debuted in 2010 and quickly gained broad appeal across the YA Fantasy market due to its lovable cast and distinct anime/manga influence. Her second series (written under the pen name Rachel Bach) was The Paradox Trilogy, a science fiction trilogy. Paradox's combination of a stand-out female main character and strong Romantic subplot gave the series cross-genre appeal into Romance, earning Rachel a place in top-ten lists for the increasingly popular Science Fiction Romance market, and garnered her the attention of big names in the larger geek-girl community, including Felicia Day and NYT Best Selling author Ilona Andrews. Rachel's current project is Heartstrikers, a projected five-book series about dragons in a magical version of Detroit. The first novel, Nice Dragons Finish Last, hit number one on the Audible.com best seller's list. The second novel in the series, One Good Dragon Deserves Another, at the top of Amazon.com's Fantasy and Urban Fantasy categories. Since 2007, Rachel's blog (thisblogisaploy.blogspot.com) has updated readers about her projects and offered advice to beginning writers. Her eBook 2k to 10k- Writing Faster, Writing Better, and Writing More of What You Love offers practical writing advice for anyone who's ever longed to increase their daily writing output.
