Reviews for Fundamentals of Pharmacology: An Applied Approach for Nursing and Health

Amazon customer reviews: 'An excellent book for any medical clinician... A valuble resource for anyone studying pre-hospital medicine and paramedic science'. 'This book has all you need to know in pharmacology without getting lost in the subject. Extremely helpful for all health care professionals who directly provide drugs for their patients. Especially excellent resource for paramedics'. '... I was very impressed by the clarity and readability of the pages finding them to be set out well, using boxed areas, icons, bullet points and a case study approach within the chapters. Additionally the questions at the end of each chapter provided useful reflection and revision of my reading, and helped ensure that I remembered what I had read... and the many diagrams are clear and easy to understand... The book groups drugs according to their pharmacological effects, their actions and the conditions they are used to treat which is away from the traditional systematic approach. It has certainly helped deepen my knowledge of the principles of pharmacology in a non threatening enjoyable way...'
