What began as a humble endeavor has blossomed under her guidance into a thriving educational haven, providing quality care to countless families.Under Mrs. Brooks' stewardship, LBA expanded to meet the growing demand for its exceptional services. Today, it stands as a testament to her commitment to providing accessible, high-quality childcare. LBA boasts two full-time, five-star STEM centers, enriching the lives of children who might not otherwise have had access to such opportunities. These centers, including NC pre-K classrooms, foster a safe, healthy environment where children can learn and grow.Mrs. Brooks' holistic approach to childcare goes beyond academics. At LBA, she has cultivated a loving atmosphere that nurtures self-esteem and self-confidence in children. Her business philosophy emphasizes not only academic success but also the tools necessary for life triumphs.Recognizing the challenges faced by the community, Mrs. Brooks has championed access to mental health counseling and social work support for families dealing with trauma. Through her initiative, a vibrant Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) committee was formed, fostering family bonds through engaging events and activities.Beyond her role at LBA, Mrs. Brooks is a devoted wife and mother of four, including a set of twins. Her commitment to community service extends to her active involvement in the Upper Room Church of God in Christ, where she contributes her time and talents in various capacities. She is a distinguished member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc., leveraging her membership to serve her community through meaningful volunteer work.Mrs. Brooks' dedication to early childhood education and community welfare is further evidenced by her extensive involvement in various organizations. She presently serves as Vice Chair on the board for the North Carolina Partnership for Children and holds a position on the advisory committee for Wake County Smart Start. Additionally, she is a mentor for the North Carolina Association for the Education of Young Children (NCAEYC), guiding the next generation of educators.With a Master's in Education from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University and a Bachelor's in Business Management from the same institution, Mrs. Brooks brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her multifaceted role as an educator, advocate, and community leader.
