Wendy Thorpe Copley was introduced to the art of bento when her husband gave her a bento box for Christmas. Since then, she has packed thousands of bento boxes for her family and written extensively about these adorable lunches. She is the author of Tuttle's Everyday Bento and has had her work featured in Martha Stewart, The Washington Post, Huffington Post and dozens of other publications. Copley lives in the Bay Area with her husband and two sons.
Drawn directly from Japanese culinary culture, Fresh Bento: Affordable, Healthy Box Lunches Your Kids Will Adore is a unique and 'real world practical' alternative to traditional American lunch fair for kids (and adults!). A welcome and unusual addition to family and community library cookbook collections. --Midwest Book Review
