David Brydan is a lecturer in the history of modern international relations at King's College London. He was previously a lecturer in modern European history at Birkbeck, University of London, and a visiting researcher at the European University Institute. His research focuses on the transnational history of modern Europe, the history of internationalism and international cooperation, and the role of religion in modern international relations. He has published in Contemporary European History, Social History of Medicine, and the Journal of Contemporary History.
