Michael V. Day is a journalist who was the editor of the Bahá'í World News Service at the Bahá'í World Centre in Haifa, Israel from 2003 to 2006. He lived and worked within a few hundred metres of the Shrine of the Báb. Born and raised in New Zealand, Michael moved with his family to Australia in 1988. He was briefly a lawyer before becoming a newspaper reporter, leader writer, feature writer, foreign correspondent and editor. He first visited the Shrine of the Báb while on pilgrimage in 1980. He has written a trilogy about the history of the Shrine of the Báb, and also a photo book on the same topic. They were published in successive years from 2017-2020. Michael is continuing to write on aspects of the Faith's history. Michael and his wife, Dr Chris Day, live on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia.
