"""Jeri Darby's 'Forgiveness, the Antidote' is a real game-changer. If you've ever carried the weight of unforgiveness, this book is like a guiding light. It says loud and clear that forgiveness is the antidote we all need to let go of the past's poison. What's great is that it's a quick read on purpose, with practical strategies to get you started on the path to forgiveness. Jeri's message is simple yet profound: Acknowledge, Confront, and Trust in the Holy Spirit. This book is a must-read if you're ready to begin your journey towards healing and forgiveness."" I wish I had this book when I was in my early 20's, and after my father was murdered during church service, by our pastor. I struggled to do what the Bible instructed, never realizing that the forgiveness was for me, more than it was for the one I was forgiving. Thank you Jeri, for making plain the instructions of our Heavenly Father, who sets the example of always forgiving us, in spite of ourselves. This book is a beautifully written, quick read, and I recommend it to anyone who is grappling with the notion of forgiving whom they have deemed ""unforgivable."" This book really ministered to me in a time when i needed it the most. I needed to forgive my father for not being in my life. God had put me in a position where i needed to take care of my dad. Im glad this book was right on time to give me a deeper revelation of forgiveness. I was able to forgive my dad and he was able to make amends with me by the end of his life. I thank God that He restores broken relationships and this book is a must read for everyone and anyone that has had offenses grudges etc in relationships, even if you struggle with forgiving yourself. Forgiveness can be difficult but God commands us to and this is just the book to teach you the steps towards forgiveness. It will lighten your emotional overload to forgive and destroy the root of bitterness.Reviewed in the United States on January 26, 2020This book is a gift to all the hearts that receive it. Within it's pages are personal testimony combined with deep wisdom, insight and intentional introspective and thought provoking moments. The words within feel more valuable, having been written from a heart that has had to forgive in great measure. An excellent read, worthy of being used as group study and Bible study material, full of scriptural reference for a daily devotional and study on forgiveness. Truly blessed by this book, thankful for the author's candid testimony throughout, causing the realness of what forgiveness looks like to be illustrated in real time. My sisters and I read this book for our family group meeting. It was very powerful and thought-provoking. I would recommend this book for anyone who has dealt with, or is currently dealing with, unforgiveness; this book is a must! Cheryl"
