WENDY PARRIS grew up loving books and hoping-but failing-to see a ghost. After graduating from Northwestern University, she acted in small Chicago storefront theaters, performed improv comedy, and worked in public relations. When not thinking up spooky tales, she likes to kayak, travel, and go to movies. She lives with her family near Chicago in an old house that is probably not haunted. Field of Screams is her debut novel.
Praise for Field of Screams: Full of nail-biting scenes, mysterious atmosphere, and clever scares . . . I couldn't put it down! -Lindsay Currie, author of The Girl in White and Scritch Scratch
