Questo libro contiene le relazioni presentate al III Convegno Internazionale di Antichità Classiche, dal titolo Experiencing the Landscape in Antiquity 3 e svoltosi a Roma il 29/31 maggio 2023 presso il Dipartimento di Studi Letterari, Filosofici e di Storia dell'Arte dell'Università degli Studi di Roma 'Tor Vergata'. Il paesaggio antico è un tema molto apprezzato e adatto a una ricerca di tipo interdisciplinare che è una caratteristica dei progetti di ricerca di 'Tor Vergata'. Pertanto, in linea con questa tradizione, questa conferenza ha avuto come obiettivo stimolare il dialogo tra diverse discipline, dall'archeologia alla storia antica, dall'epigrafia alla letteratura e alla numismatica sul Mediterraneo antico tra VII sec. a.C. e VII sec. d.C. In questo modo sono stati considerati particolarmente ricerche innovative, metodologie originali e studi comparativi.

This book contains the papers presented at the 3rd International Conference of Classical Antiquities, entitled 'Experiencing the Landscape in Antiquity 3', held in Rome on 29th to 31st May 2023 at the Department of Literary, Philosophical and Art History Studies of the University of Rome 'Tor Vergata'. The ancient landscape is an important theme, well-suited to interdisciplinary research which is a feature of the research projects currently ongoing at 'Tor Vergata'. In line with this tradition, this conference aimed to stimulate dialogue between different disciplines, from archaeology to ancient history, from epigraphy to literature and numismatics on the ancient Mediterranean between the 7th century BC and the 7th century AD. In this way, innovative research, original methodologies and comparative studies are presented.
