Sushil Kumar Upadhyay is an associate professor in the biosciences and technology division of Maharishi Markandeshwar Engineering College, Maharishi Markandeshwar (Deemed to be University), Mullana-Ambala, Haryana, India. He has more than 14 years of experience in teaching and research in parasitology, animal and veterinary science, taxonomy, molecular phylogeny, nanobiotechnology, and microbiology. Dr Upadhyay has numerous awards and honors to his credit, including certificates of excellence, Bharat Jyoti Award, Bharat Shiksha Gaurav Puraskar, Paryavaran Ratna Puraskar, Vigyan Ratna Puraskar, Vigyan Bhushan Puraskar, Paryavaran Shri Samman, Prof. S. Yamuguti Parasites Taxonomy Promotion Award, Prof. S. P. Gupta Gold Medal, Prof. S. L. Mishra Gold Medal, National Elite Teacher Award, and Pre-eminent Academic Excellence Award. His research is focused on molecular taxonomy and phylogeny for taxonomic validation of parasitic helminths. Siddhartha Dan is a teaching assistant and PhD scholar at Dr B. R. Ambedkar National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar, Punjab, India. He has worked as a research intern in INMAS (DRDO), Delhi; CNCI, Kolkata; NIB, Noida; and the ICTC Laboratory of MGM Medical College, Jamshedpur, India. His areas of research include tissue engineering and biomaterial sciences, and he has been conducting research studies on in vivo radiation and excision wound models, dermal toxicity, and radiation decontamination. Sheikh Abid Ali is a scientific training supervisor at the National Institute of Biologicals (MoHFW), Noida, India. He has been an assistant research scientist in the pharmaceutical biology division of Ixoreal Biomed Pvt. Ltd. and a research consultant at the Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine (CSIR Lab), Jammu and Kashmir (J&K), India. Dr Ali has also taught biotechnology at Government Degree College Sopore, J&K, and served as a research scientist at the Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences, J&K.
