"""This is an evangelical Christian's must-read."" --Kristy L. Johnson, owner, Ascend Psychology Ltd ""Cameron has written a cohesive and well-thought-out history of the pro-life movement, demonstrating good understanding and personal experience. In particular, he gives a well-balanced treatment of the option of adoption, acknowledging both the joy and pain it can bring."" --Monica Loewen, founder and former executive director, Lethbridge Pregnancy Care Centre ""I am very impressed with this book's depth of scholarship and references, as well as the considered opinions on this history."" --Frederica Mathewes-Green, author of Real Choices: Listening to Women, Looking for Alternatives to Abortion ""Love the book! Informative, well-structured, and biblical!"" --David Robertson, author of The Dawkins Letters: Challenging Atheist Myths ""J. Cameron Fraser's experience as a Reformed evangelical pastor outside of the United States has given him an intriguing, theologically informed, biblically based perspective on abortion that American Christians need to hear. His thoughtful arguments for a nuanced pro-life approach, along with his critiques of all sides in this debate, will surprise and intrigue readers who are looking for an alternative to culture-war rhetoric."" --Daniel K. Williams, author of Defenders of the Unborn: The Pro-Life Movement before Roe v. Wade"
