Dr. M. Rashad Islam is an Assistant Professor at the Colorado State University Pueblo and a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in civil engineering. Dr. Islam is also an ABET program evaluator of civil engineering, architecture and construction management programs. He has more than 100 publications including text books, reference books, over 60 scholarly journal articles, several major technical reports and conference papers. Dr. Islam’s other major textbooks are Pavement Design – Materials, Analysis and Highways, and Civil Engineering Materials – Introduction and Laboratory Testing. Dr. M. Abdullah Al Faruque is an Associate Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering Technology, Environmental Management and Safety of the College of Engineering Technology at the Rochester Institute of Technology, New York. Dr. Bahar Zoghi is an Assistant Dean and an Associate Professor of Architecture and Construction at the State University of New York at Farmingdale. Dr. Sylvester A. Kalevela is a Dean and a Professor at the Colorado State University Pueblo. He has a M.S. degree in civil engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, and a Ph.D. degree in civil engineering from Arizona State University. Dr. Kalevela has taught courses in statics, soil mechanics, structural analysis, reinforced concrete design, hydraulics, highway materials, and computer applications in problem solving. Dr. Kalevela is member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, Institute of Transportation Engineers, Chi Epsilon (the civil engineering honor society), and the American Society for Engineering Education.
