Reviews for Engaging Preschoolers in Mathematics: Using Classroom Routines for Problem Solving

Dr. Dauksas and Dr. White have written a book that brings research into the classroom: Engaging Preschoolers in Mathematics is filled with useful knowledge as well as real world examples that are applicable to classrooms. The inclusion of center designs using common materials brings attainability to all the mathematical concepts in any early childhood setting, and the authors have reduced the planning time necessary for teachers by allowing for examples of each concept by center. This is a practice guide to mathematics. -Kali Goldberg, early childhood teacher
