Stephan J.G. Gift graduated with BSc (First Class Honours) and PhD degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of the West Indies in Trinidad and Tobago. He is a Professor of Electrical Engineering and formerly Head of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at the University of the West Indies where he also teaches and conducts research. He is currently Pro Vice Chancellor, Graduate Studies and Research at this University. He has published many papers in electronic circuit design and has performed reviews for many international journals. He is a senior member of the IEEE and a past president and Fellow of the Association of Professional Engineers of Trinidad and Tobago. He has over ten years of industrial experience and one international patent. Brent Maundy graduated with BSc (Upper Second Class Honours) in Electrical Engineering and MSc in Digital Electronics from the University of the West Indies.He has a PhD in Electronics from Dalhousie University, Nova Scotia. He is a Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Calgary, Alberta in Canada. He has published many papers in electronic circuit design and was an associate editor for the IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems II.
