He is a fount of NASCAR and motorsports lore. Fred is also a licensed psychologist, pastor, and husband, and the father of a stock-car driver and IndyCar insider. Nelson P. Miller is a prolific author of over 100 books, drawn from his career as a horseman, trial lawyer, law professor, and law school dean, school and nonprofit board president, church operations director, and professional web content writer. He has won service awards as a lawyer and educator, argued cases in the state and federal appellate courts, published dozens of books and scholarly articles, and been included in the Harvard University Press book What the Best Law Teachers Do. He has authored and published books and novels on law, education, faith, motorsports, horse training, and other subjects.
