I also suspected a few innocent characters and was truly surprised when the true murderer was revealed. The author does a wonderful job of writing a page-turning mystery that you can get lost in for hours. Even though it is a work of fiction, when you put the book down you feel renewed. There is a lot of character development in this series and I enjoy seeing how the characters have developed throughout.
