Marian Oziewicz received his doctorate at the Warsaw University of Technology. From 1967-1968 he was an assistant at the Institute of Electronics, GUT. From 1968-1972 he did his doctoral studies at the Institute of Theoretical Physics of the University of Wrocław and then from 1972-1980 was an assistant there. From 1980-1985 he was an employee of the PAN Branch in Wrocław and a secretary of the Exact Science Terminology Section at the Presidium of the Polish Academy of Sciences. In 1985 he was an engineer at the Institute Automation of Power Systems in Wrocław and a research and technical employee at the Wrocław Department of the Institute of Telecommunications.
