Rosemarie Zuleta began her career in nursing at the Chinatown Dialysis Center in the U.S. in 2009. Throughout her career in renal nursing, Zuleta has rotated between acute dialysis and renal ward nursing, renal vascular access coordination, renal research nursing, and leadership responsibilities in outpatient dialysis. One of her proudest achievements was authoring and publishing her first book on dialysis. In that book, Zuleta wanted to empower dialysis patients with a motivational and actionable handbook that would teach patients and their loved ones how to deal with the challenges of dialysis while making the most of each day.
