Dr. Tim McCalmont has spent his entire career in the academic practice of dermatopathology and has served as a tertiary dermatopathology consultant at the UCSF Dermatopathology Service for over 2 decades. Dr. McCalmont has a keen interest in all aspects of cutaneous pathology but is particularly intrigued by adnexal tumors, melanocytic tumors, and advanced diagnostic techniques, including both sophisticated immunohistochemistry and molecular methods. He is the editor-in-chief of the Journal of Cutaneous Pathology. Dr Michael Tetzlaff recently moved to UCSF from the Department of Pathology and Translational and Molecular Pathology at the MD Anderson Cancer Centre at The University of Texas. Prof Tetzlaff' s main area of expertise is in primary mucosal melanoma and merkel cell carcinoma, and assisting in the assessment of pathological samples from patients undergoing neoadjuvant, targeted therapy. He is the author of over 100 peer-reviewed journal articles
