Dan Krause has written eight books in a period that began with an academic career. His master's thesis on nursing homes was published as a research monograph. After leaving the academic world, he began writing for a more general audience, and his first mystery novel, A Memo From Harvey, won an award as the best new mystery novel.
"""Enjoyed the book very much. I laughed at the humorous comments. Great information to consider while deciding on future moves while downsizing. I hope the author continues with more adventures.""-Janet Aggen, speech teacher ""I always look forward to another Dan Krause book, and I was not disappointed with his latest. He takes us on a journey many of us will have to face as we age-finding a place to live out our golden years. It is a wise, compassionate, and thought-provoking trip presented in a clear, concise, and intelligent manner-heavily laced with Krause's signature humor. I recommend this book to anyone, especially those facing this type of decision for themselves or someone they love or for anyone who just needs some good laughs.""-David Countryman, special education teacher ""Buy the book, but use a yellow highlighter so you can read the numerous LOL sentences to your friends (or your enemies)! BTW, face facts: we are all dented cans.""-David Edelberg, MD, author of The Triple Whammy ""Read this book if you are moving. Read this book if you are not moving. Mr. Krause is insightful, humorous, and sometimes biting. You will enjoy your conversation with him.""-Paul Mooradian, a new condo dweller"
