Rahul A. Sirohi is Assistant Professor, Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, Indian Institute of Technology, Tirupati. He is a development economist and his research currently focuses on the development experiences of Asia and Latin America. He is the author of From Developmentalism to Neoliberalism: A Comparative Analysis of Brazil and India (2019) and Reassessing the Pink Tide: Lessons from Brazil and Venezuela (2021). Sonya Surabhi Gupta is Professor of Latin American studies at Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. Her research interests focus on knowledge flows in the Global South, with special reference to Latin America and India in a cross-cultural context. Her most recent publication is the edited volume, Subalternities in India and Latin America: Dalit Autobiographies and the Testimonio (2022).
