Antonello Monti is currently the Director of the Institute for Automation of Complex Power Systems at the E.ON Energy Research Center at RWTH Aachen University and Scientist at Fraunhofer FIT as part of the Center for Digital Energy in Aachen. He has previously held positions at Politecnico di Milano, Italy, and at the University of South Carolina, USA. Antonello has been and is Associate Editor of several international journals edited by IEEE, Elsevier, and Springer. He has been the recipient of the 2017 IEEE Innovation in Societal Infrastructure Award. Federico Milano is currently Professor of Power Systems Control and Protection and Head of Electrical Engineering with University College Dublin, Ireland. He has authored more than 220 scientific publications, including 6 monographs and 90 papers in JCR-indexed journals and transactions. He is an IEEE Fellow, an IEEE PES Distinguished Lecturer, and an IET Fellow. Federico is an editor of several international journals published by IEEE, IET, Elsevier, and Springer. His research interests include power system modeling, control, and stability analysis. Ettore Bompard is currently Professor of Power Systems at the Department of Energy and Scientific Director of Energy Security Transition Lab at the Energy Center of Politecnico di Torino, Italy. In 1999 and 2000, he has been Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, USA. He has also been Power Systems and Critical Infrastructure Senior Scientist at the Energy Systems, Security and Market Unit of the Institute for Energy and Transport of the Joint Research Center in Petten, the Netherlands, from 2012 to 2014. He has coauthored more than 150 publications and book chapters on various topics related to the power systems analysis and modeling. Xavier Guillaud is currently Professor with the L2EP Laboratory of Electrical Engineering and Power Electronics, and leader of EPMLab at École Centrale de Lille, France. His research interests are in the areas of advanced control systems, power systems, and power electronics.
