Claude Boucher (Claude - pronounced as in 'clode' the door...) was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada where he was raised by a Caribbean mother (and as he claims - raised on Curry), has been driving buses for the past 12 years. Prior to that he worked in the facilities management field and then in the transportation industry with intermodal containers via trains and trucks before a sudden (unexpected) retirement at the ripe age of 55. Claude felt it was finally time to do something he truly wanted and different - in an entirely different profession-first driving coach buses, and now in public transit. Because of his lengthy life experience and interactions with people, he enjoys making connections with his passengers, hoping to ease their burdens whenever possible. He came from a low-income family and went on to complete secondary and post-secondary education, so he relates firsthand to the struggles many of his passengers seem to face. Claude was encouraged to write Claude And His Bus by his daughter and a dear friend in the hopes that it would inspire others to perform good deeds and spread positivity in a world that so desperately needs it. He currently lives in East York, Ontario, Canada.
