Julie Murphy is a trained zoologist and zookeeper and has been writing children's books for over twenty years. She writes books which she hopes will inspire young readers to be curious about nature and to encourage children to become lifelong readers and conservation stewards. Julie has published more than 20 children's books in Australia and the USA. Rachel is an illustrator and designer born in France, where she studied visual communication and illustration before relocating to Australia: first Hobart, then Brisbane. She has illustrated several picture books, works with businesses and non-profits, and collaborates with design studios on all sorts of commercial and cultural projects.
