In this second in a series of stock-car-racing mystery romance novels, a sophisticated digital journalist helps the race driver she's dating pursue the rare Memorial Day weekend double, while a shadowy government agent discourages the attempt, fraught with danger, crashes, and confusion. Only one driver has ever completed both the Illianapolis 500 and Sugar-Cola 600 in the same day, and no driver attempting the double has ever won either race. Will they pull off the rare double? Will her driver partner win either of the races? See how this extraordinary feat stirs the intimate relationship between the journalist and her race driver, while also stirring her deepening understanding of her own place in the universe's eternal story.

He is a fount of NASCAR and motorsports lore. Fred is also a licensed psychologist, pastor, and husband, and the father of a stock-car driver and IndyCar insider. Nelson P. Miller is a prolific author of over 100 books, drawn from his career as a horseman, trial lawyer, law professor, and law school dean, school and nonprofit board president, church operations director, and professional web content writer. He has won service awards as a lawyer and educator, argued cases in the state and federal appellate courts, published dozens of books and scholarly articles, and been included in the Harvard University Press book What the Best Law Teachers Do.
