Series: Cat and Friends
Age range 2 to 6

In this story in the Cat and Friends series of full-colour board books, Cat has fun flying his kite, but when the kite gets stuck in a tree, how will Cat get it down? Luckily, a very tall friend comes along just in time! Bold illustrations and simple text enable new readers to develop their vocabulary, as well as encouraging the recognition and understanding of word structure through phonics.

Printed as a board book, the story is nicely designed for toddlers, preschool, and kindergarten readers, introducing young readers to a range of vocabulary terms, rhyme, and rhythm.

'Overall, the book is just right for infant and toddler listeners who crave familiar patterns and will zero in on slight, intentional differences from page to page. Carefully calibrated for its audience.'
