I felt like I was sitting with Deborah having a personal conversation... similar to the gentle, straightforward, and encouraging conversations Deborah has had with countless student-therapists who were seeing young clients for the first time. I'm excited to share this workbook with my supervisees because it's filled with useful tools and tips and opportunities to self-reflect and creatively respond. The wisdom, insights, and personal experiences shared in this workbook will certainly help build confidence in anyone who wants to develop meaningful, authentic, and productive therapeutic relationships with children. -- Seren Morris, M.Div., M.A., LPCC, ATR-BC Field Training Clinical Supervisor at Tierra Nueva Counseling Center Art Therapy Faculty at Southwestern College, Santa Fe This delightful workbook is perfect for both therapists new to working with children and seasoned therapists looking to reignite their love for children. The creative prompts invite therapists to focus on what's most important- themselves. -- Robyn Gobbel, LMSW, child therapist & presenter of Parenting After Trauma Podcast
