Easy and simple instructions on how to make up squares that fit together to make up glorious colourful and textured crochet items for your home. Cushions blankets or even a tote bag. The blocks are given names just like in traditional quilting, fading arrows or flock of birds anyone? The book has four projects included: a boho bag, two blankets and a contemporary and colourful cushion design. -- Ashley Cramp * lazydaisyjones.com * There are a lot of great blocks in this book, a few squared circles and some bobbles. They are mostly made using two stitches which makes them great for beginners. For the more experienced crocheter, they might be a bit too basic and similar to each other. I really like the suggested layout plans with each block and there is also a fold out US to UK stitches conversion chart which is really handy when working. All in all a really nice book, I'll be making a blanket using the cottage pattern for sure. -- Sam Clarke * Amazon Customer Review * If you've always wanted to make a patchwork quilt, but your sewing skills aren't up to scratch, try crochet. This book has over fifty patterns, many based on traditional quilt shapes like tumbling blocks and log cabin. Each one has both a chart and written instructions, and some blocks have layout ideas to help you piece together your final design. The four projects included in the book are two blankets, a cushion and a bag. An ideal starting point for creating your own designs. -- Linda Rumsey * Customer Review * Great book, patterns are just like cloth patchwork. -- Joanne Udall * Customer Review * This book will enable me to learn how to use multiple colour yarns in the same shapes, adding more interest to the designs. I'm thrilled with my honeycomb! This is the nearest I have come to achieving that. The designs are lovely. The beginning of the book helps you understand the process. My daughter loves them all, I might have my work planned for a little while. -- Suzanne Smith * Customer Review *
