I'm Celina, a Michigan artist and author. I love growing food and flowers, making art, and writing stories! Some of my favorite memories were made while raising backyard chickens with my husband and three children. I've written this story with these memories in mind, and to make sure everyone knows just how fun the process can be!

I really enjoyed the author's note and tips about raising chickens."" - Ann Egley, Youth Services Librarian at Williamsburg Public Library in Iowa ""Amazing book! Very well written. Love the section about the author. It adds to the story. I also like the helpful tips, and enjoyed looking for Allie, the cat, on each page."" - Mary Rodriguez, Chicago Public Schoolteacher ""What I loved most about this book is how tangible the author's excitement for her topic is.
