Her 2020 book Endless Sea- Stories Told Through the Taonga of the New Zealand Maritime Museum Hui te Ananui a Tangaroa was long-listed in the Ockham NZ Book Awards. She has also worked as the organiser for Equity New Zealand, the trade union for performers.
