'Nanna' Anna Matilda is founder and creative director of The Urban Nanna, a permaculture education business that specialises in teaching traditional skills, crafts and methods of living. Her Scandinavian heritage, neurodivergent brain and advanced teacher-training have equipped her to engage adults and children alike in lifelong learning. Anna believes that positive environmental and cultural change is possible and infinitely more attainable if everyone works together as a supportive global community. Her teachings focus heavily on ethical permaculture. She seeks to lead others in living a sustainable lifestyle in an uncertain economic landscape, no matter where they call home. Anna regularly appears on House of Wellness; has contributed to print and online publications, such as Pip and Peppermint magazines, Guardian Australia and ABC Everyday; has had a monthly spot on ABC Radio since 2020; regularly runs presentations, workshops for various organisations; and has an engaged social media presence.
